Account Manager/ Special Assistant to the President
The Dershowitz Group, a bipartisan boutique public affairs and strategic communications firm, is seeking a motivated and talented events associate. An ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented, well-organized, and has strong written communication skills. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure and have strong interpersonal skills. An interest in the Middle East and national security issues is a plus. The position will largely be focused on supporting projects with clients to help the firm and its clients meet short- and long-term strategic policy event goals. Growth potential for team players. Bachelor’s degree and event planning experience required. Applicants must be well organized so they can manage detail-oriented projects, have at least 1-3 years of post college work experience, and strong written and oral communications skills. Ideal applicants will have strong comfort level with a variety of computer applications and the ability to learn new ones quickly. Preference will be given to applicants with Hill experience and/or experience working with traditional and/or social media, and have a demonstrated interest in Middle East and Israel.
